5 Tips For Testosterone Health by Clark Bartram

5 Tips For Testosterone Health by Clark Bartram

I've been in the fitness industry for a long time. Men ask me the same questions every single day: “How can I lose weight and feel better? How can I get jacked? How can I boost my T (testosterone) levels?"

Men have low T for all sorts of reasons. Aging, poor diet and exercise, and external factors like endocrine disruptors and prescription meds. The information below could absolutely revolutionize your life.  I see it every single day.

I coach men from all around the world, most over the age of 50, interested in boosting their testosterone levels to get the same feel of manliness they had when they were 25. I tell them their bodies are perfectly capable of producing more T naturally, and they probably don’t need synthetic supplements like testosterone shots, pellets, or creams.

I’m not against shots, but I do think they’re an extreme measure most men don’t need to jump to immediately. They’re a slippery slope that can lead to unwanted physical changes and even more meds. There are better, natural methods to try out first! Here are five steps any man can take to get their body to make more testosterone naturally.

    Get Fit For Fall Checklist

    Get Fit For Fall Checklist

Fall is a notoriously difficult time for dieters — the cool weather and upcoming holiday season make it easier than ever to dabble in desserts and other high-calorie temptations.

With that in mind, here is a checklist to help you stay on track every single day. With discipline (and by bookmarking this page) you can make it through this season better than ever.

Before you get to work, let's get your mind right. If you're not mentally strong you'll never be able to achieve your potential. Everything GREAT that you've achieved so far began with a single thought. A realization. The following framework will bring you clarity, allowing you to do the work and build the life that you were destined to create!

    Success Framework

    Your Why

Before you consider what you're capable of achieving, take a moment and consider why you should. Write a list of the people, belongings, and experiences in your life that mean the most. Here's one of mine: I love my family and will provide for them at any cost. In order to do so, I must take care of my mind, body, and spirit at the highest level.

If you were to achieve your highest calling, how would that impact the areas that you care most about? What kind of difference would you be able to make?

If your visions are based purely on short-term desires disconnected from what you care about, you will fall short. Our immediate, selfish desires change on a week-to-week basis. The vision has to be connected to something much larger than ourselves.

    Your Vision

Visions are separate from goals. Being happy and healthy, enjoying life on the beach with six-pack abs, is a vision. The end result of your goals. The beach might not be your vision, but you know what you want your end result to be. Take a moment and put yourself there.

    Your Goals

Now that you have a vision, what are your goals?

Goals are measurable amounts of work, over a certain period of time, that are in line with your vision. "I want a six-pack" is not a goal. Let’s say your vision is to be healthy, live long, and set a good example for everyone around you — your goals should include following a diet plan and being active every day. Here's an example of several goals:

    1. I will follow the Superset city workout plan (4 week program)
    2. I will drink 1 gallon of water per day for the next 30 days
    3. I will consume 150+ grams of protein per day, and remove all processed food and sugar from my diet, for 30 days

Notice how each goal is an action based on my vision. Each day you do the action, you achieve your goal. Each day you achieve your goal, you're closer to the vision.

Embracing this mindset is a huge relief — success is no longer a mystery. You don't have to think about it! Determine the vision, set up the goals, and do the work. Success is just around the corner.

    Your Work

With a vision and goals in place, you're ready to do the work. Nothing will happen if you don't commit to the work, and this is where routines come into play. Figure out how to fit your goals into your day with the least amount of friction possible. This is the main reason I get up and work out first thing every morning. My family is asleep, my phone is silent, and there's no distractions.

With each passing day your confidence will build, and the work will become more enjoyable as the light of your vision becomes brighter.

Right now, I'm actually in the gym...

I don't want to be in here this afternoon, I'd love to be outside. But, I'm in here crushing it. Why? Because, I need it mentally. I need it physically. It puts me in my place and allows me to be a better person to other people!

The gym allows me to focus on doing things at a much higher level, because my mind's right and my body's right.

Are you setting yourself up to be in the best physical shape you can be?
Are you putting in the work mentally, to be the strongest you can be? Are you spiritually grounded, where you need to be?

If you're a business owner, are you putting everything that you have into that business? No "Plan B", nothing else. Build and build and build and build.
Don't look back. Look forward to where you're going. You deserve to make 2021 your best year yet!

    So... Get after it today!

Then, wake up tomorrow morning ready to go and do whatever it takes. There is no plan B! You're in charge... You're in control.

You are responsible and you are building the life that you want to live.

    Todd Talks: Mindset Is Everything!

    Todd Talks: Mindset Is Everything!

    Mindset is Everything!

Success is a climb. It’s a journey. It’s a lifelong pursuit and built with unpredictable ups and downs...Mindset is everything!!  The “experts” tell us this and it is true!!

Your mindset is the beliefs you carry in your head about you and your abilities and this will determine how far you go in life. If you believe you are born to struggle, you will be suspicious of anything offering you any opportunity to stop struggling. You will feel completely justified in holding yourself back because your mind is okay thinking it is normal to struggle.

You can think about success as a flowing river. The struggle part is you getting to the riverbank. Dealing with obstacles; mean people, defeat, anger, sadness and despair happens when you are walking to the river of success. When you get to the flowing river of success you have two decisions that you can make.

First, you must decide if you are going to jump into the river or keep on fighting and struggling. This might take some people a long time to decide because they have been raised to believe that struggle was the only way to live! Habitual thinking can be hard to let go of sometimes.

Then you jump into the river you have another decision to make 🤷‍♂️ You have to choose between the struggle of swimming upstream or allowing yourself to flow downstream to continued success in other ventures.

Struggling upstream matches many folks learned behavior of obtaining success. Flowing downstream means you no longer need to struggle for success. You would already be in the flow.

The biggest problem is that for many, we’re taught that this decision is a moral choice instead of a pragmatic one. We do have a choice. Swim upstream and continue to struggle or flow downstream and enjoy the ease of life.

    Change involves making new choices.

Not everyone is the same and all paths are open without recrimination. The real deal is that you don’t need to continue to struggle unless you want to...👈😉

Many start their journey with pie-in-the-sky, smooth-road ideals, yet, success is rarely, if ever, that type of journey.

Be relentless, be resilient and never quit!
