    Recipe: Brisket Baked Sweet Potato

    The 4th of July around these parts means brisket. Combine Texas’s favorite cut of meat with a baked sweet potato and you’ve got a dangerously delicious and easy meal. Make it even easier by having us ship the brisket and seasoning directly to your door.

    The Recipe

    Prep time: 45 minutes (mostly baking the sweet potato)



    • Large sweet potato
    • 1 lb brisket
    • ¼ cup ICON Tennessee Whiskey Flavor
    • 2 cups diced tomatoes (fresh if possible)
    • 1 cup water
    • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (more to taste)
    • ¼ cup green onions (more to taste)


    1. Wash and dry all fresh produce.
    2. Drizzle olive oil on sweet potato, wrap tightly in aluminum foil and bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees until tender.
    3. In a large saucepan combine brisket, water, tomatoes, and ICON Tennessee Whiskey Flavor. Mix until thoroughly combined. Cook on high until simmering, then drop to medium low heat for 15 minutes.
    4. When the sweet potato is done baking, remove from foil and place on serving plate. Cut one deep slice lengthwise and slightly squeeze ends to create a hollow “canoe.”
    5. Fill sweet potato canoe with brisket mixture. Top with cheddar cheese and green onions.

    How To Make High Protein Oatmeal

    In this video, Chef Danny walks you through his simple high protein oatmeal recipe using our ICON Cinnamon Honey Butter Seasoning. 


    • 2 Cups Water

    • 1 Cup Oatmeal

    • 1 Cup Egg whites

    • 2 Tbsp ICON Cinnamon Honey Butter Seasoning


    • Bring Water to a boil

    • Stir in oatmeal, let cook for 1-2 minutes

    ª Whisk in egg whites and seasoning

    • Add more seasoning on top and enjoy!

    Chef Danny's Super Bowl Wing Recipe!

    Chef Danny here at ICON Meals! I'm going to show you guys a very simple, very healthy way to make wings.
    I'll be baking some chicken wings with our Vodka Lemon Pepper Seasoning and creating a Butter Herb dipping sauce using our Butter Herb Seasoning.
    To get the wings started, lay them out on a dry towel. After you get your wings laid out, pat them dry to get rid of the moisture. This way when they bake they crisp up nicely! Once the wings are dry, put them in a bowl, drizzle a little bit of olive oil on top, and toss thoroughly. 
    Finally, we add the Vodka Lemon Pepper Seasoning. Once the wings are nice and seasoned, you're going to place them on a baking rack and cook for about 40 to 45 minutes on 400 degrees. 
    For our Greek yogurt ranch dressing, what you're going to do is use roughly two cups of Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of Butter Herb Seasoning and mix well!
    In about 45 minutes, your wings are done! Cooked to perfection!
    Now that you see how easy these wings were to make, I hope you and your family have a great Super Bowl Sunday!


    Cooking Instructions:
    1. Heat Oven to 400 degrees
    2. Pat drumsticks & flats dry
    3. Toss drumsticks & flats with olive oil and Vodka Lemon Pepper Seasoning
    4. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes (or until 165°F internal)
    Butter Herb Dipping Sauce
    1. Whisk greek yogurt and Butter Herb Seasoning thoroughly
    Allow wings to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with carrots & celery, enjoy!
