Todd Talks: Don't Make a Resolution!

I hear so many people talking over the past couple of weeks saying, "2020 wasn't their year because there's so many things going on. The world is so screwed up.”

This is why this didn't get done...

This is why I’m out of shape…

This is why I haven't had success in business...

I don’t want you to make a New Year's Resolution for 2021, I want you to make a change! Switch your mindset from “these are my resolutions”, to “This is what the change is”.

Change your lifestyle to make it impactful, to make it long lasting, and to obtain everything and more that you want.

Make yourself 1% better everyday!

Let’s say you're out of shape and you’ve been using the excuse of the coronavirus or quarantine. The truth is you haven't been eating what you should be eating. So, you just have to make that little change! It doesn't mean you flip a switch, and overnight you're eating is perfect. But you do have to make an intentional decision to make small changes.

Maybe that's eating ONE good meal every day for the first week. You know you need to eat more protein and drink more water. I want you to be intentional, taking actionable steps to bring yourself forward. It’s time to update, upgrade, and level up your lifestyle.

Don't just make it a resolution. We’re striving to make a long-term impact in 2021. You need to change as a person and build upon a solid foundation.

When they pour a concrete slab, does it just dry in two seconds? No, it takes time to dry, then they build the next layer - putting those four by fours down.

The point is, build upon it. Make yourself 1% better everyday! For me, I’ll be making changes to my four key areas: My faith, my family, my fitness and my finances.

Some of you don’t have a family, so you’ll need to work on your relationships, work on being better. I challenge you in 2021 to grow your network, to level up, to surround yourself with people that are doing the things that you know you need to do.

And the diet..

This is one of the most important things, because it helps you out in all other areas of life. You feel better, you look better, and you're mentally stronger. You want to be at your best to make impactful changes.

It's not going to happen overnight. But I guarantee, if you are intentional about lifestyle change, you will see success in 2021. And that's what I want for you!
