Hello ICON Meals Foodies,

Today is a special day in the culinary calendar – it's National Cooking Day! To celebrate, we're excited to introduce a brand-new item on our bulk menu: Slow-Cooked, Hand-Shredded Pulled Pork. This delectable bulk item is versatile, flavorful, and a true time-saver for your home cooking endeavors.

Chef Danny has taken our pulled pork and crafted three mouthwatering meals that are delicious, quick, easy, and convenient. The best part? Each of these recipes can be prepared in about 5 minutes using ingredients you probably already have at home – just add our freshly prepared pulled pork from the bulk menu.

Breakfast: Sweet Potato Pulled Pork Hash

Sweet Potato and pulled pork hash

  1. Heat the pulled pork either in a skillet, microwave (for a quicker meal setup), or air fryer (for a crispier hash).
  2. While the hash is heating up, cook two eggs sunny-side up.
  3. If you like seasonings, this is the time to season your hash. Try our ICON Meals Seasonings; Tennessee Whiskey for a spicy kick would be fantastic!
  4. Drizzle some tomatillo sauce over the hash and add shredded cheese.
  5. Plate your hash, add the sunny-side up eggs, and enjoy! Quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious!

Lunch: Pulled Pork Cuban Sandwich

Dinner: BBQ Pulled Pork Tacos with High-Protein Potato Salad

Pulled Pork BBQ tacos with high protein potato salad

High-Protein Potato Salad (optional):

  • 4-6 oz Red Potatoes
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1-2 TBLS Mustard
  • 1 tsp ICON Meals Seasoning (Butter Herb for an extra touch of richness)
  • Optional: 1 Hard-Boiled Egg

  1. Heat the pulled pork in a skillet, microwave, or air fryer. Mix it with ICON Meals Sweet Carolina BBQ Sauce.
  2. Drop the tortillas on a skillet (30 seconds each side) to crisp them slightly.
  3. Prepare the high-protein potato salad: mix red potatoes, cottage cheese, mustard, and ICON Meals Seasoning. For creamier texture, blend cottage cheese and mustard in a food processor and add to potatoes. Add a hard-boiled egg if desired.
  4. Plate your tortillas with BBQ pulled pork and add the high-protein potato salad. Enjoy a protein-packed dinner that's quick, easy, and bursting with flavor.

And here's an insider tip: When you buy our bulk menu pulled pork, you're getting a full pound that's already cooked. Unlike raw meat that typically shrinks by 25-30% when cooked, we're providing you with an entire pound of cooked pulled pork! That's more value for your money.
