When you think about difficult exercise, what comes to mind? Maybe sprints, or a heavy weight training workout, or running a marathon. These activities are the pinnacle of mental and physical endurance, right?

Not for James Lawrence, the IRON Cowboy. This man is a determined father, husband, and triathlete who completed the impossible: the Conquer 100.

In 2021, James completed 100 full-distance triathlon races in 101 consecutive days. One of these races consists of swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 miles, and running 26.2 miles.

Without a doubt the Conquer 100 is the biggest physical and mental strength accomplishment in human history. During the race James had a team of assistants throughout the day and deep tissue therapy every night, typically falling asleep during the process. He would eat as much food as possible. James gained media coverage throughout the event, raising money for Operation Underground Railroad to support the fight against human trafficking.
