    The Production Manager oversees and ensures the daily production hits the required targets within budgetary guidelines while maintaining a clean and sanitary work area throughout the kitchen, walk-ins and storage areas.


    • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
    • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
    • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
    • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
    • Setting productivity goals for each team
    • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
    • Assist in new product development and menu costing
    • Managing employees including hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding or otherwise engaging in resolving employee-related matters
    • Maintain sanitation standards throughout the work area following USDA, FDA and HACCP regulations
    • Maintain an efficient operation and troubleshoot and report any malfunctions of equipment
    • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff 


    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Manager, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef
    • Proven leadership experience in a complex environment with multiple direct reports
    • Professional culinary training or equivalent work experience
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Experience in ordering, inventory maintenance, and shrink control
    • Proficiency with automated reporting systems for all facets of production management
    • Proven experience to supervise, train, and cross-train kitchen staff
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, and weekend shifts
    • Good attitude and work ethic
    • USDA facility experience preferred

    Work Environment:

    While performing the Production Manager duties, the employee will work in a commercial kitchen environment. The temperature ranges between 65-90℉.

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of the job, the employee stands for a long period of time, use of hands, fingers, talk, and listening.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Sunday, but the employee will not work everyday. Flexible schedule is required.
