How to reheat steak meals without making them tough

Published January 08, 2026

Steak dries out when overheated. For best results, vent the film and microwave at 50–70% power in short intervals, checking after 60–90 seconds.

If you have a skillet, reheat the steak separately on low heat with a splash of water or broth, then warm the sides in the microwave.

ICON Meals are cooked to stay tender, so gentle heat is the key. Avoid high-power microwaving for several minutes straight. That keeps the protein juicy and the texture intact.
